The palette stays disciplined - charcoal stone, aged brass, oxblood - with warm candlelight doing all the tonal lifting against the shadow. Corner cartouches with fleur-de-lis motifs and a gilded ornamental border frame the illusion and keep the perspective contained rather than spilling past the edge.
