The blade lands first. A long, slim katana cuts diagonally across the front panel, and everything else on the bag arranges itself around that single line.

Design Story

Underneath the sword, a sweeping brush arc curls upward in black ink with a burnt-orange edge, splitting into flecks and scattered petals near the top. To the right, a fractured white mask marked with striped orange lines emerges from a spray of ink. Behind it all sits a pale grey crest, faint enough to read as texture rather than image. On the left, the vertical word ICHIGO is stacked letter by letter beside a thin rule, with small Japanese characters and a rust-coloured seal below. Restraint is what makes it work: two colours, one accent, and a lot of untouched space.

Carry & Styling

On a tote, that composition behaves well. The diagonal blade fills the panel's height without crowding the top seam, so the handles never fight the artwork. The vertical name anchors the left edge, the mask weights the right, and the pale background carries the balance between them. From a few steps away you read the sword and the orange arc instantly; up close the ink detail rewards a second look.
