Design Story

The composition is pure hierarchy. Collegiate block lettering sits at the top as the anchor, weighted and confident, with the smaller wordmark beneath it acting as a breath. The shield tapers to a point, pulling everything downward into the date line and a small rectangular badge accent near the base. Navy against warm cream gives clean contrast; the gold outlines add definition without clutter. Nothing fights for attention, which is why every element gets seen.

Use & Experience

On a tall tumbler silhouette, that vertical shield is doing exactly what it was drawn to do. The crest occupies the front-facing focal panel at full graphic scale, while the horizontal band near the base closes the wraparound composition like a footer. Negative space around the shield keeps it legible from across a room.
